Days of Our Lives spoilers say that much to the delight of fans everywhere, Lani returns to Salem just in time to celebrate her Fourth of July anniversary with Eli. The time couldn’t be any better as Eli manages to get her out of prison just in time to celebrate Abe’s funeral as well. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani Returns To Salem

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Sal Stowers, who plays Lani on the hit Peacock soap, says that her character never envisioned for things to be this way, yet here we are. She puts it this way, “This is definitely not the way Lani intended to come home to bury her father. No one wants to return home to that or to even hear that news. So it’s definitely a bittersweet moment.”

Unfortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Abe’s body is yet to be found. That makes Lani believe that the evidence used to presume that he is dead might not be totally correct. Simply put, the information doesn’t add up and Lani knows it.

Sal continues, “No one seems to be concerned that there’s no body. And Lani, being the great detective that she is, wants to prove that Abe is really gone. She starts getting these instincts that lead her to go and search. Eli’s trying to get her to just trust the Salem PD, but that’s not going to work. She has to do it herself.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that to that end, Lani and Eli head to the police but are shocked by what they see there. They find out that the person who saw Abe down is supposedly a paid actor. This gives Lani even more of a reason to believe that something just isn’t right and that her father might not even be dead after all.
