It seems like all of the action – and yes, that pun is intentional – is happening at the GCAC. Even Michael and Lauren have used the room to spice things up a little bit even though their own home is one that fans haven’t seen in a very long time. That said, it certainly does look like the GCAC is seeing a lot of mileage from the soap’s characters lately.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some of them have even commented on it with, “I totally agree! Y & R has seemed to be neglecting their legions of loyal viewers who notice stuff like this. I think the new people (writers) think we old viewers are clueless. Considering the hundreds (thousands) of nights I’ve spent in hotel rooms, at various price points,  in US, Canada, South America, Asia, Australia, Japan, China…I have never seen a live (or fake) plant inside the room,” along with, “That poor bed it must nearly be wore out. The stories that room could tell. Come on time for homes for all ……chancellor mansion must be big enough for them all.”
