Could he be exaggerating just a wee bit here? The Young and the Restless spoilers say that’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder as there’s some speculation that suggests Kyle Abbott might file for full custody of the son that he shares with Summer Newman, Harrison. Here’s what you need to know.
In the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Kyle made it pretty clear that Summer Newman cannot be forgiven on several different counts. First, she liked about Phyllis Summers being alive even though Phyllis had framed Kyle’s mother, Diane, for murder. And now she’s been caught on another lie about their son, Harrison. Clearly, Kyle has an ax to grind with Summer and at this point, it doesn’t really matter what she might do or say, he just wants her out of his life for good.
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about this storyline on Twitter. Some have written comments such as, “This dude really thinks he still has the high ground here…Which he just accused Summer & is angry with for doing… Kyle is using Harrison as an excuse but throwing glass at stones house. Oh yeah this dude is gone..Summer deserves better,” along with, “My question is Kyle gonna file for sole custody of Harrison? What he’s saying in this scene reminds me of Danny taking Daniel away from Phyllis and growing him up on his own. He regretted that. Despite everything Summer is a great mother and I hope that doesn’t get taken away.”
Another Y&R critic wrote, “Kyle you are no better at protecting your son. And Jack you are not a god grandfather. Should’ve told Kyle the truth about Diane lying about Harrison, but no. Kyle is such a jerk today, Summer needs to divorce him.”
