General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, June 30 tease confrontations, connections and confusion. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) confronts someone, Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) tries to make a connection, and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is obviously confused by Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) mixed signals!
At GH, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) presses her mom after Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) told her she and Curtis are still in limbo. Trina asks her why is she letting him off the hook so easily, presumably referring to Curtis and the kiss with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Portia has calmed down some now, but she definitely hadn’t given Curtis the impression she was letting him off the hook easily when she confronted him.
She had confronted both him and Jordan after her brother Zeke blabbed both his love life and Curtis’ faux pas with Jordan to her. It hadn’t been pretty.
Meanwhile, Curtis confronts someone elsewhere as he tells them “or you and me, there’s going to be a problem”. He could be talking to Zeke about his blabbermouth because it caused considerable trouble for him with Trina and Portia as well as Jordan. Curtis is likely soon to find out there are all kinds of trouble going on around him, with snooping around in The Savoy because of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). There are other issues as well that soon could affect him, including his buddy Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) going to prison.
A pint sized matchmaker got into her dad’s phone and ordered food and set up a date between Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) even thought of candles and a bouquet of flowers for Elizabeth. But now that Elizabeth’s trying to leave and go home, suddenly Violet is so upset Finn picks her up to comfort her.
Elizabeth and Finn are alarmed when Violet seems afraid and near tears and says Aunt Elizabeth can’t go home yet. Might she be afraid she’ll lose her aunt like she lost her mother and never see her again?
Elsewhere, Zeke calls Jordan trying to make a connection as he asks if she’s free for dinner tonight. Zeke doesn’t know that Portia confronted Jordan about her kiss with Curtis, and it could only have come from Zeke! Zeke shouldn’t be surprised if Jordan turns him down with a hard pass, after telling Portia their personal business. How can anyone trust such a blabbermouth, let alone want to date him?
Austin was apparently confused by Ava’s mixed signals when he grabbed her and passionately kissed her, but he shouldn’t be confused any longer now that she pushes him away! They had argued just a bit after Austin did things to draw Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Gray) attention away from her and Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava or Grace Scarola). He’d explained himself but Ava wasn’t going for it and still needs more clarity on exactly what Mason wants about Pikeman from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
But as far as Austin’s attraction to Ava, she’ll make that crystal clear and leave no confusion. She obviously isn’t rushing in to any relationship!
Meanwhile at Sonny’s penthouse, he’s obviously concerned for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). She wants to know what he wants to talk to her about and he tells her “her future”. Sasha is determined to get out from under the financial guardianship started by Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) before he died and taken over by Gladys. But Sonny may be hearing some things from Selina Wu (Lydia Look) about Gladys’ gambling problem and how it’s affecting Sasha and her finances.
Back at the Collins house, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may have a broken rib after his bar fight with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). He sucker punched Dex and Dex fought back, and Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was concerned when she saw the bruises. Spencer told her to leave his room and that he was fine one time, but now she’s back again.
Spencer pushes back and pushes back hard as he shouts at Esmé to get out! He doesn’t want her in his room whatsoever.
