General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is growing more and more concerned about her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Sasha has been lying for some time, trying to convince herself that everything was on the up and up with Gladys. She really can’t afford to lose another family member – in any capacity. As Sasha is trying to move forward with her life and gain control of her finances again, she’s going to be met with contempt from her mother-in-law. What gives, Gladys? Why doesn’t she want Sasha to level up and get on with her life? When she finds out the truth about what Gladys has been up to, it’s going to devastate her. Before Sasha learns the truth, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will learn the truth. When he happens upon Gladys spending time with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), Sonny is going to know that she can’t be up to anything good. The last time he saw her doing this, she was selling Brando Corbin‘s (Johnny Wactor) garage out from under Sasha to the mob queen, Selina. What could she possibly be up to this time around? As Sonny has his men start snooping around, and he learns that Gladys has been stealing her daughter-in-law’s fortune and robbing her blind, he will struggle with how to break the news to Sasha.

GH Spoilers Hint Sasha Can Handle it

Fortunately, all the hard work Sasha has been putting into rehabilitating her mental health has paid off. She’s going to be able to handle this trauma, but that doesn’t mean she’ll do it with grace. Some fans think Sasha will default to immediately forgiving Gladys — recognizing her gambling addiction as a poor coping method for grieving Brando’s death. Others are expecting Sasha to come down pretty hard on Gladys, after being completely stunned by her betrayal. That could spur some pretty intriguing storylines for Gladys if she totally goes off the rails.

What’s really playing out here is the foundation that will serve to support Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) coming further into Sasha‘s life. We fans are absolutely excited about that! Sasha has suffered so much loss, and she deserves to have someone holding her hand who really wants to do right by her. Gladys isn’t that person. But it does beg the question: if Sasha is no longer going to be the person Gladys plays off of, does she even fit in the storyline anymore?
