As many fans know already, Sally lost her baby Ava in one of the most heartbreaking scenes that fans have seen in a very long time. If that weren’t enough, she’s also been entwined in a complicated love triangle between Adam Newman, Nick Newman, and herself. To say that things have been stressful is an understatement.

Actress Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on the hit CBS soap, recently opened up about her character’s future and what fans can expect to see next. She told Michael Fairman TV in a new interview, “Sally is slowly but surely going to find her way back to herself and that fire that she’s always had. This loss is only going to make her stronger. It’s going to ground her even deeper in her mission. Sally has become very dependent over the last year and not wanting to be alone. I think growing through this loss and this experience will really bring her back to herself. It’ll be interesting to see what happens; where she ends up, and where she doesn’t end up.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Sally?

While fans would love to see her work things out with Adam Newman, no one knows for sure if that will be the right step for her. Clearly, something is going to happen and it’s going to be quite big.
