General Hospital Spoilers: T.J. Reverses Course on Surrogacy When Molly Suggests Using Her Sisters’ Eggs

General Hospital spoilers reveal TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was willing to give Molly Lansing Davis (Mia Holiday Kriegel) all the time she needs to process what Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro) had to day. Molly‘s eggs are not viable. Even with hormone therapy, it’s unlikely that Molly will be able to conceive a child using her own eggs. Now, not only will she never know what it feels like to feel her baby moving about and kicking in her womb, but she won’t even have a child that looks like her. Molly and Tj will need surrogacy and egg donation to make parenthood happen for them if they still want him to have any genetic ties to their children. TJ is all for that, but what Molly has to say next might change his mind. If Molly can’t have a child of her own, she wants the next closest thing to it. Will TJ indulge her?

General Hospital Spoilers — Molly’s Time-Out Gives T.J. Pause

Molly needs time right now to process all of the bad news. She’s going to throw herself back into work at the DAs office, and TJ will try to grin and bear it as she does. But the whole time, he’ll be wondering how much longer she’s going to make him wait to become a dad. He could start to brew some resentment for his partner during this time. His aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), tried to warn him that this is a much more painful process for Molly than it is for him. But it doesn’t feel that way. Nonetheless, when Molly comes back around and she’s ready to discuss their options, TJ is going to be over the moon.

GH Spoilers Suggest David Eggs Only Please

He’s also going to be floored when Molly suggests she has the solution to their problems. Going behind his back and asking her sisters for their eggs, Molly will be elated to tell him that both Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) are willing to donate their eggs to help them become parents. Oh, wait a minute, TJ never agreed to this. Molly will be stunned when TJ balks at the idea of using her sisters’ eggs.

It’s bad enough that Molly cannot use her own, but she would like to share at least some biological DNA with her child. Surely, he can understand that, given that he still gets to. Molly could be further taken aback when TJ takes that offer off the table and says they should use both egg and sperm donation, or even consider adopting. Wow, TJ, tell us how you really feel about the Davis sisters!

General Hospital Spoilers — T.J. Backs Out

TJ‘s concerns aren’t all that unfounded. He’s a doctor, and he’s a doctor at GH for goodness sake. He has seen how this kind of thing pans out. The last thing he wants is for his child to grow up believing Molly is their biological mother, only to find out someday that one of his or her aunts is actually their mommy. It’ll sting to hear him say that. When Molly argues that whoever raises the child is the real mother, TJ may agree with her and ask why the egg donation matters then? Why does DNA matter?
