Let’s take a second to forget about Sonny and Nina or even Carly and Drew, because it seems like there is another hot General Hospital couple that fans are paying more attention to. Of course, we are talking about Sam and Dante. A lot of fans would agree that they are definitely the hottest couple in this fictional town of Port Charles right now. Here’s what you need to know.
For years, fans were used to seeing Sam McCall get swept off her feet by Jason Morgan. But now that he’s presumed dead (or maybe even gone forever), it seems like Dante Falconeri has done a good job of stepping in Jason’s shoes and being that man who Sam has needed all this time. He’s not only incredibly handsome and charming, but he also truly cares for Sam. If that weren’t enough, the two of them also have great chemistry on the small screen. Kelly Monaco and Dominic Zamprogna truly are a great pair of co-stars together.
Of course, many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about this pairing on Twitter. Many have commented with, “I like them both, but I always loved Sam. Dante is one of the very few upstanding, sensible male characters on GH. They’re not exciting together, but very sweet. Throw stones at me all you want, but I don’t miss the last version of Lulu,” along with, “YES, I like Sam with Dante. They give each other freedom & Sam has someone who gives most of his attention to her, children, work & family. Dante’ is no longer “holier than thou” & has learned how to help his family & friends within the law. Sam is free & happier.”
Another critic wrote, “I do! I wish everyone would stop moaning about Lulu and Jason and appreciate what we have now! Kelly and Dom are doing a fantastic job moving forward with these characters, and so should we. I think they have great chemistry!”
