Actor Kyle Lowder has just shared some exciting news with his fans about a brand new position that he’s just gotten! Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Days of Our Lives Star Kyle Lowder Reveals his Exciting New Job

The daytime television actor has joined CBS affiliate KTVN Channel 2 news as a the new morning co-anchor. He shared a photo of himself on his Instagram account and captioned it with, “The ink is dry and it’s official. I couldn’t be happier to announce the next chapter/adventure in my life, both personally and professionally. Starting in July I will be joining news leader and CBS affiliate @ktvn_renoas their new morning co-anchor. Truly grateful and thrilled to be a part of the beautiful Reno-Tahoe community. Details forthcoming, stay tuned.”

It didn’t take very long for his fans and followers to comment on his photo. Many of them wrote, “Awwww yay! congrats!!! Excited for you to be closer to the fam!” along with, “Good for you I hope you report ALL the news whether good or bed for BOTH political parties. You stay classy!”

Another fan wrote, “This should be a steady paycheck, whereas real estate or acting could be spotty income, at best, right? Good luck!”

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Next For Rex Brady?

Back in October, Kyle opened up about whether or not he would come back to Salem full-time. He told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “This time around, now through next year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many people because of the nature of the story I’m in. To have the opportunity to be on the show on a more permanent regular basis is something that I would absolutely love and be very grateful for.”
