General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, June 27 tease questions needing answers, situations needing resolution and confused houseguests. Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) questions need answers, Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) situation needs resolution and Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) a confused houseguest.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) opens up to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about her difficulties with getting time alone with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). They were interrupted about every other second by Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) needing something concerning Spencer’s baby brother. While it was cute seeing Spencer cuddling Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) and singing a lullaby, they couldn’t complete their goodbye kiss.
Trina was the one who got Esmé’s charges dropped when she came back with amnesia after jumping out of the tower where Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) had held her. But if she remembers what she did then the charges reinstate and she’s back to prison-Joss asks what’s wrong with setting her up?
Meanwhile, back at the Collins house Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talks to Esmé, and it sounds like Esmé’s working her to prevent the date Spencer promised Trina. She tells Esmé she thinks that Spencer would meet her halfway, and that halfway will probably interfere with Spencer’s relationship since Esmé was eavesdropping when Spencer promised a date. When Trina left, she looked like she was having second thoughts about staying with what basically is a single father co-parenting a child, only it’s his brother. It was different when they were in danger in Greenland, Trina loved cuddling Ace then without Esmé being part of the package!
At the Metro Court pool, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) obviously has some questions that need answers, as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) asks him why would he ever ask her that? Lucy has gotten a little worried since Martin indicated that he would never get married again, not even to Lucy! But then she did seem a bit unclear when she agreed she’d never marry, hoping he’d take it that he better get down on one knee!
They had told Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) who was with them at the time that they liked things just the way there are. However, that would be one of them-and it’s not Lucy!
At the hospital, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is adamant as he warns Ava Jerome (Maura West) there’s no one off limits to Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray). Mason’s been making threats and he’s a very impatient man, wanting Ava to get information on Pikeman and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). So far it’s been no dice and Ava is being pressured to get that information or Mason will strike. It’s not like he’s going to just wait forever for what he wants, and Austin implies someone will get hurt!
There are situations needing resolution at Anna’s house, as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) shows up at the door. Valentin, who’d planned to go to Chechnya with Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) tells Anna until she can face what is, he’s staying. Anna was not happy when she wanted to go on the trip and Laura told her it wouldn’t be good optics considering her situation.
Anna just burned all her WSB files she’d kept for so many years in her fireplace, even Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) being upset over that. Valentin will try to get Anna to see that she can still use her skills somehow-he hasn’t been an agent for years, and he’s using his!
At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) explains to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that something’s not true. Perhaps she’s worried that her father, Ned will never find his way back to himself from his “identity crisis” as Eddie Maine! There is something strange going on, because as Sonny had noted, when Ned was leading his double life he always knew he was Ned when he was Eddie and vice versa. Chase will try to keep Brook Lynn calm and positive about her dad.
It looks like Mason isn’t the only one wanting information from someone as Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) out on the patio talks to someone on the phone. She tells them she’ll get the information, she promises, although she appears to be stalling. She has commissioned Brook Lynn to be her spy at Deception, to find out things about “The Deceptor” so maybe it’s connected to that.
Might she and Martin be in cahoots given all his secrecy about why he won’t marry Lucy and those $50,000 payments? It sure seems suspicious, doesn’t it?
Meanwhile, over at Sonny’s penthouse where “Neddie” stayed the night willingly, he comes out of a room and asks can someone tell him what he’s doing there? Is he Ned or Eddie now, and does he remember the events of the day and evening before? Is he switching back and forth between two personas, like someone with dissociative identity disorder? Whatever the reason, he’s one confused houseguest!
