According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Audra helps Kyle forget about his troubles in a way that he probably wouldn’t otherwise expect. As Kyle and Summer’s marriage continues to crumble into a million different pieces, Summer tries to convince her husband that they need to work out their issues. But Kyle wants out.

Actor Michael Mealor, who plays Kyle on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to the publication in a new interview, “He knows right from wrong in this situation with Phyllis and he’s appalled that Summer openly lied to him. So a wall has gone up and he’s actually cold toward her and she’s not handling it well. He thinks a separation would allow them to process things and maybe even heal.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that after having a tense conversation with Summer, Kyle heads to the GCAC bar. And wouldn’t you know it – Audra is there and she’s already working on a cocktail.

Michael says, “Audra is obviously a very beautiful woman. He’s buried in pain and she’s distracting him from that. Their conversation gets a little too personal, now that they have a few cocktails in them.”

But when they decide to leave, Kyle can’t help but look back to see Audra and she’s there staring at him, too. Clearly, there’s an attraction between them that will quickly move to the bedroom. Michael says, “The alcohol has given him liquid courage and he’s telling himself that he needs this right now, so they end up having sex.”
