The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that this was certainly unexpected! It looks like Liam Spencer will assume that his marriage to Hope Logan is over – even though it’s technically not over – and will make a major move on Steffy Forrester! Yep, you definitely read that right. In fact, it almost even looks like Steffy is going to cheat on her husband, Finn, too. Here’s what you need to know.
At this point it’s safe to assume that Liam has never really gotten over his ex, Steffy. Each time he has problems in his marriage, he runs over to Steffy’s beach house and complains about it. Well, after watching his wife Hope make out with Thomas Forrester in Rome, Liam suspects that there’s really no point in trying to save their marriage. It’s as dead as last season’s fashion and that’s why he’s decided to take the jump and kiss Steffy Forrester smack on the lips.
That said, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Steffy will be taken aback by the kiss. Clearly, she enjoys being Liam’s friend, but she’s not looking to become romantic with him again. That ship has sailed many moons ago. Plus, she’s not going to jeopardize what she has with Finn right now as she knows that it’s a good thing. All Liam really did was humiliate himself and of course, complicate matters between him and Steffy. There’s a very good chance that she will try and distance herself from Liam. She’ll definitely want to do that too before Finn finds out about the kiss and accuses her of cheating.
At this point, Liam should just stop going back and forth between Hope and Steffy and find a new woman in his life. But a waffle is always going to be a waffle, right? Watch this space as we have a feeling that the fallout from this kiss is going to be an ugly one.
