General Hospital Spoilers: Is Portia Going Overboard About Curtis’s Kiss With Jordan?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers state that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) reunion plans could be on the rocks. Portia recently learned about her husband’s secret kiss with his ex, Jordan Ashford (Tashina Harper) during their separation, and is reeling about the deception.
However, does she have a leg to stand on with this?

GH spoilers suggest Portia may rake Curtis over the coals about this in the weeks ahead. She has every right to feel hurt, mad, and slightly betrayed. However, the two were separated when it all happened, and it’s not like he jumped into bed with Jordan or let things go further than a lip lock. Granted, Jordan is Curtis’s ex-wife, and Portia knows all too well that Ms. Ashford still has feelings for him.

So, should he have told Portia about it before he moved back in? Yes! But at the same time, there were so many factors involved as to why he didn’t. The fact that Portia is confronting Jordan and not sleeping at home while Curtis is there seems like she’s taking this way overboard. Especially off the cusp of her major lie being exposed.

GH Spoilers: Is Portia Trying To Deflect Her Own Mistakes?

Portia is an A-type personality. She’s a doctor, detail-oriented, always does what’s “right” (for the most part), organized, and an overall “good person”. This made her decades-old lie a complete shocker for everyone involved.

In many ways, Portia, subconsciously, may be trying to deflect what she did (which was far more harmful than a kiss) so she can “blame” her marriage falling apart on Curtis. Ashford and Robinson were trying to work on their marriage in the aftermath of the exposed lie. It’s hard to say if they would have “made it” or not. Especially considering that Curtis lost years with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) because of Portia’s fib. Would he have been able to get over this easily? Would they have been able to “move on”? Portia may know deep down inside that she ruined her marriage and she may secretly feel there’s no repairing it, which is why she’s making a major deal out of Curtis’s lip lock with Jordan.
