According to Page Six, there’s a very good chance that Queen Camilla might have taken a jab at Meghan Markle by wearing Christian Dior after the brand denied reports that they were making a deal with the Duchess of Sussex. Talk about sending a direct message, right? The Queen wore her outfit during the 2023 Royal Ascot earlier this week and of course, she ended up being the talk of the town. 

Many royal fans and critics alike commented on the matter with, “The Queen plans her wardrobe way in advance but well within the time frame to know Meghan worships Dior. Hilarious. That is discreet class power move, not screaming and wailing everywhere about how horrid your life is,” along with, “Camilla the Spiteful. It backfired because Camilla looks awful in the ill fitting outfit.”

Another critic wrote, “If wearing Dior was an intentional act to poke fun at Meghan, I applaud her for having an extremely WICKED sense of humor. That said, “Princess Diana would have been a great Dior model. She had the poise, elegance and knew how to wear clothes. She never put a foot wrong. These 2 ragamuffins, like Cami and the Nutmeg don’t.”

Royal Family News: Is Queen Camilla Really Being That Petty?

While there were plenty of rumors floating around that said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to be the new faces of a Christian Dior campaign, those got axed quickly. A spokesperson for Christian Dior denied that they were making a deal with the Sussexes. Clearly, it’s Queen Camilla who is having the last laugh about all of this. If it were up to her, she would probably start wearing Christian Dior everyday.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
