Apparently, she might have an ulterior motive in her decision to force her brother Nick Newman to stop down from his position as COO of Newman Enterprises. Here’s what you need to know.

Victoria thinks that Nick is not in a good place in his life right now and that’s not good for business. Because of everything that went down with Cameron and Sally losing her baby, Victoria thinks that her brother should step down from his position. In fact, she even forces it. This certainly came out of nowhere and has also prompted fans to wonder what might be going on. Is she trying to make room for her lover Nate Hastings at the top of the food chain? Maybe.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about this storyline. Many of them have commented with, “True but we do not know her intentions.  Victoria saw Nate place his hand on Audra’s hand.  Nick may be her only current way to play Nate along.  At least, that is what I am hoping.  She can’t un-see that gesture,” along with, “Victoria will learn the hard way when it comes to her family. You don’t bite the hand that’s been feeding you. She will suffer a lot more than what she’s been doing. Nick has always had her back, but this time he’s going to choose Adam over her.”
