General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, June 22 tease unintended consequences, unleashed fury and unexpected outcomes. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) worries about unintended consequences, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) unleashes her fury, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is blindsided by an unexpected outcome.
At the courthouse, Michael worries about unintended consequences as he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wait at Drew’s court hearing. Michael asks if there’s any way this could blow back on their mom and he’s likely assured it couldn’t. The whole reason Drew is pleading guilty is to take the heat off Carly and protect her, although in reality, she is just as guilty because she bought the stock.
If she hadn’t, there would have only been hearsay and no crime committed. But Drew is convinced he’s doing the right thing.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) now has time to talk to her sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) who interrupted her surveillance activities previously at the Metro Court pool. She had put a bug in the magazine she was reading as Cody Bell, (Josh Kelly) Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) were talking when Kristina came up. Kristina likely obliterated anything Sam might have gotten recorded of the conversation and now she has an update on her project. Sam, Kristina, Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) and their mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had discussed it before. It sounds like Kristina has made yet another change in her planning process and Sam asks her why did she think it was a better idea?
At GH, there’s another family discussion in Dr. Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office as he advises his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Finn tells his dad that will get him nowhere, perhaps talking to him about dealings with Tracy Quartermaine. Finn knows Tracy is a person who is hard to deal with, although he seems to have earned a modicum of respect after he cured her of brain worms years ago.
Gregory has already had a taste of Tracy’s venom when defending Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). However, it seems that the two of them gave as good as they got!
Back at the Metro Court Pool, Cody continues the discussion with Gladys, and Spinelli is likely still there too. They gave Gladys something to worry about when Spinelli told her that her fitness app proved she was in the men’s dressing area and could have planted that bracelet. Spinelli confused her with all kinds of cyber lingo like geo tagging and meta data, with Cody telling her that was nerd for “gotcha!” If nothing else it provides reasonable doubt to her narrative, combined with proof from her past behavior. Now he tells her there are details here that are best kept on the DL-meaning the down low.
Elsewhere, Tracy and Alexis are talking about Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and his fall in the Metro Court Pool, which led to a traumatic brain injury and a seriously hampered memory. Ned knows what year it is, and that he’s in Port Charles but doesn’t remember any of his family and thinks he’s Eddie Maine. Alexis talks to Tracy about a preposterous theory she came up with, saying Ned fell on purpose.
Tracy will unleash her fury, likely when Alexis doesn’t believe her. That is a stretch even for Tracy!
Elsewhere, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) begs to disagree, telling someone they couldn’t be more wrong. That is probably going to be Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) who she overheard talking that they think Cody has more than friendship feelings for Sasha. He has been going out of his way to protect and defend her, and usually “just a friend” doesn’t do that. He literally almost lost his pants on the Home and Heart set, threatening to streak across their set on live TV!
Back at the courthouse, Drew will be blindsided, as will Zeke, at an unexpected outcome, and Michael and Carly will likely react in anger at the judge. Zeke felt sure that the judge would go for the plea bargain, as he asks Drew how he pleads. Drew will plead guilty thinking all he will get is six months in Spring Ridge.
But the judge will reject the plea, considering Navy Seals to be killing machines and unsafe for Spring Ridge. He’ll get two years hard time in Pentonville!
