Her family is definitely in need of some prayers and some good vibes right about now. General Hospital star Emma Samms has some sad personal news that she has shared with her fans on social media. Here’s what she has to say.
Sharing a photo of her dog Chester, Emma captioned her post with, “Sorry to report that Chester is in the (animal) hospital. He seemed to be in a lot of pain last night, and we were really lucky that his FAVORITE vet Hannah was able to see him this morning. He’s being looked after very well. I’ll keep you posted.”
Awww! We can only imagine the pain that Emma must be feeling right now. Many of her Twitter followers commented on her photo with, “So sorry to hear this. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Chester. Dogs become a part of your family. Hang in there, Chester,” along with, “Oh bless him – I’ve a poorly pup at the minute too so I know how worrying it is. Hope Chester is feeling better and gets home very soon.”
Another fan wrote, “Sending lots of love, prayers, and happy thoughts. Hope he feels better soon!”
Meanwhile, Emma had to say good-bye once again to Port Charles just a few weeks ago. Emma said that she hoped that she could have stayed in Port Charles just a little bit longer, but it seems like the writers have different plans for her character. Emma added that she and the producers of the show “had sort of touched on the subject of another return. Frank Valentini and I had spoken about the practicalities of it. I’m very lucky that my husband Simon is able to come back with me and do some work from here, that he has that flexible schedule.”
We will definitely keep you updated on Emma’s dog Chester and of course, her plans to return to Port Charles.
