It wasn’t supposed to be this way, clearly. General Hospital spoilers say that Sam McCall is absolutely furious that Drew is doing time for Carly after his lawyer offered a plea deal to the SEC. Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Is Angry That Drew Is Taking The Fall For Carly

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Drew believes that he will only be in jail fox about six months until he later realizes that it’s actually two years after the judge decides to throw the book at him. Dante asks about Carly and when Drew says that she won’t be doing any time, Sam clearly gets upset. Drew, of course, wants to tell Scout the truth but Sam points out that Scout won’t understand any of this at all. She then tells Drew to fight the charges since clearly neither Carly nor Drew made any money out of the deal. Sam then gets even more upset that Carly bought the shares but Drew will have to pay the price for it all.

Of course, many General Hospital fans sure do have a lot to say about this storyline. Many have taken to social media to write comments such as, “Is it too much to hope that the SEC says no to Drews proposal, since they have a strong case and prosecute them both??” along with, “I don’t even get this. I thought they said they were going after Carly to get to Sonny. And now they’re going to settle for Drew? Why?. Initially they wanted Drew & Carly. Why would they drop the charges vs Carly? It’s the dumbest. They should have sent Drew on the hunt for Nik and wouldn’t have to come up with this convoluted & dumb story.”

Another critic wrote, “I haven’t even watched this episode yet and I’m already feeling disgusted with Carly but even more with Drew. I hope Sam rethink her friendship with Carly because there’s no way in hell I can continue to be friends with that bitch. This Drew has been written as dumb ever since the writers paired him up with Carly. He missed out two years of his daughter’s life and he is willing to miss out six more months all because of Carly. Why can’t Carly do the time for breaking the law?”
