The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will catch Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) off guard. It seems that when he hears Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lost their baby girl, he includes Sally in his sympathy for their loss.

Victor has made his disdain for Sally quite plain at times, and he may not like her, but he’s not a monster. That would have been his granddaughter, after all, had Sally not suffered a tragedy that caused Adam to make an untenable choice. Adam hadn’t told Victor when he couldn’t reach Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that there was problems with Sally and the baby, but Victor figured it out.

At the time, Nick was dealing with his daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) being kidnapped by Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and trying to keep Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) safe. Plus part of that time Nick was in jail, after being framed by Kirsten for beating him up, he’ll probably not want Sally to know that.

Victor is sympathetic, even to Sally, and doesn’t say a word about this tragedy solving a lot of problems-after all the baby would have been his granddaughter. He was rather monstrous when he tried to pay her to leave town and have the baby but now he’s changed his tune, after nearly losing his granddaughter Faith. The situation with Kirsten and even his inability to control the narrative and keep Sharon and Faith safe seems to have done something to Victor. Now he wants to help in any way he can, from getting Sally counseling if she wants it to paying for a service and burial plot-if she wants them.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman Is Sympathetic

Victor is full of sympathy for both Sally and Adam, and he’s never really seen Adam in such pain and grief. He is worried about his son because Sally’s lashing out and blaming him for choosing her over the baby, when the placental abruption danger made the choice for him. Adam could very well go over to the darkness he has tried so hard to stay away from, no one can endure all things.

Victor intends to watch over the whole situation very carefully, knowing this is a very tough blow for both Sally and Adam. He is sincere when he tells him he’s there for Adam for whatever, and for Sally as well.
