The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that they’ve finally arrived – and they’ve apparently brought a suitcase full of drama with them. The hit CBS soap’s much-anticipated location shoot begins in Rome this week and thankfully Supervising Producer Casey Kasprzyk recently provided some spoilers as to what fans can expect from the cast in Italy. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Kaspzyk opens up about what viewers can expect as the stars of The Bold and the Beautiful take on Rome. He said, “We shot at the Piazza Navona, that’s where we have the Hope For The Future preview. We also shot at the Gianicolo Cannon and of course, the Colosseum, which was surreal. In fact, we were able to make arrangements for a private after hours tour of the Colosseum in the underground area, so we had to keep an eye on the clock while shooting because we did not want to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity. We also stayed in this beautiful private villa right in the heart of Rome, which we incorporated into the story, and it was used as the location where the Forresters stayed.”
Kasprzyk added that because of all the difficult times that Italy went through with the pandemic, the producers really wanted to go there and celebrate the show and have some fun with their Italian fans. He also teased what will happen next in this storyline.
He said, “It is indeed a Roman holiday. This is the kickoff of summer. There is romance in Rome, for sure, and there is a lot that happens. There are people who will give in to their desires, and those desires have repercussions that will play out after this back in L.A. Things are going to change and there is going to be a fallout.”
