General Hospital spoilers say that things aren’t looking very good for Drew right now. That’s because he and Carly are in for a courtroom shocker as Drew takes the fall for the charges of insider trading. Unfortunately, things don’t go quite as he expects though. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Drew shows up at the hearing prepared to plead guilty and that all he will see is six months behind bars. It’s a hard truth that he’s accepted, too. Actor Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way to the publication in a new interview, “It’s hard and, of course, he has a lot of feelings around being separated from Scout, and about being separated from Carly. But he feels like it’s the right thing to do and that makes it a lot easier to accept it.”

However, General Hospital spoilers say that as the proceedings unfold, its becomes more and more clear to Drew that the judge in his case might have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. Not only does he get two years in prison instead of six months, they are also sending him to Pentonville and not Spring Ridge. He is stunned as Pentonville is the last place that anyone would want to be.

Needless to say, Drew is stunning by the sudden turn in events and he doesn’t know what to say. Cameron explains, “Drew’s main goal becomes, ‘Let’s make sure Carly isn’t charged with contempt,’ so he is trying to calm her down. Carly then implores Drew to change his plea so that he won’t be separated from her and his daughter for so long. The bottom line is, it’s too late. Drew feels he has no choice but to accept this fate.”
