General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina Expresses Her Concerns, If Molly Cannot Make Eggs, Can They Use Hers?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will express her concerns about Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Mia Kriegel) sad situation. Sooner or later, surrogacy will be brought up as a possible option for Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), but what if Molly can’t make eggs-could they use Kristina’s?

General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Lansing-Davis’ Endometriosis Is Severe

Molly and TJ are told Molly’s endometriosis is severe, and at an advanced stage; as erratic as her cycle has been, egg harvesting is not a sure thing. Usually they are taken from the ovaries and Molly would be given hormone-stimulating medication, but such medication could make her endometriosis worse and may not be advisable. So, if Molly were not to be a candidate to donate her own eggs so surrogacy could be possible they would need both an egg donor and a surrogate.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) may be at the age now where either egg donation or surrogacy may not be advisable-so Kristina might step up to do both. This will be something the sisters will discuss, likely with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) brought into the situation at some point.

GH Spoilers: A Complicated Process

This could prove to be a complicated process for Kristina, as she also will have to be tested to make sure she has eggs that would be viable. She will also have to be tested to make sure she’d be able to carry the baby. Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) Sam’s significant other, could be a supportive friend to TJ and Molly, having gone through similar problems with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). The reasons were different but the process the same, although their surrogacy experience became very convoluted-nonetheless Lulu eventually had a son and a daughter once their embryos were tracked down.

General Hospital Spoilers: Decisions Will Need To Be Made And Legal Documents Drawn Up

Decisions will need to be made and legal documents drawn up, simply because of the complications inherent in surrogacy; when the surrogate is a close family member even more so. Genetic testing will need to be done to make sure there are no genetic disorders on the girls’ maternal side, and their fathers are half-brothers. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is local and no problem, but who knows whatever happened to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)?

Plus, sometimes surrogates unexpectedly become attached to the fetuses they are carrying and don’t want to give them up when born. However, with two sisters that’s not as likely to happen since Kristina will still be the baby’s aunt legally.
