Of course, Nina is panicking inside that her entire house of cards is about to come tumbling down. Is Ned going to make his first call to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), letting him know that Nina was the one who reported him and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to the SEC?

Some fans have theorized that Ned could sue the Metro Court hotel. Does that really make sense when his wife — Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) — owns half of it? Perhaps. We all know how they can bend the rules on the insurance policies and make one party look liable for some thing that another isn’t. Nonetheless, a lawsuit could hit the business bad enough that the only way to save it is to force one of the owners out of it — conveniently, that would be Nina. Of course, he also might have grounds to sue Nina for letting him take the fall over the SEC tip when she knew it was her all along. That would certainly expose her web of lies in a very public way.

However, Ned may not want to expose Nina just yet if he can use the information he has as leverage to get other things he wants from her. So what does that entail? For starters, Carly deserves to have her half of the Metro Court back. Insisting that Nina gives it up and returns it to her — free of charge — is going to be a big ask. How is Nina supposed to explain that kind of generous gift? Would Carly even accept it from her? Certainly, Ned is sharp enough to figure out the details and make this work.

Ultimately, the question on everyone’s mind will be whether Nina is going to lose Sonny. Of course she is! But that doesn’t mean that will be Ned’s first priority. Nah, his first matter of business will be making Nina pay dearly in ways that actually benefit others. And he just might drag that out for a long time to squeeze every drop of retribution from her tearful eyes. Ned might also consider that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — an ally who will forever be in Nina‘s corner — could be strong-armed into agreeing to give up his shares in ELQ in trade for Ned to stay silent about what Nina has done.
