The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) hits the town for an unforgettable date night with his family. Here’s what you need to know!
Sharing an adorable photo of himself alongside his wife Cindy, Don captioned it with, “We had an outstanding dinner at the LEGENDARY @theformosa . Circa 1939, it’s one of the last bastions of The Golden Age of Hollywood. Very cool! Read about the history, and definitely check it out if you’re in LA!”
Of course, many of Don’s social media followers commented on his photo with, “Nice family, beautiful wife and best actor. Love to watch you on the bold and the beautiful. You are truly blessed in your life,” along with, “Consider yourself a lucky man Don. You are surrounded with what matters the most in this world and that’s your family.”
Then again, Don is the same kind of father figure he is on screen as he is off. Back in March, and during an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Don admitted that he was just as floored as his character when Bill found out that he had a son in Liam Spencer way back in 2010. He told the publication, “It was mind-blowing. This guy I don’t think ever thought he’d have a wife or a sustained relationship with a woman, let alone dealing with a son. It’s enough for him to deal with him [laughs]. So when Liam came along, at first he wasn’t interested. He didn’t want it. He was in utter disbelief. That was his initial response.”
Liam also added that during his first scenes with Don, he felt like Bill was his father right away. He said, “ I hadn’t found out he was my father yet and the way the lines were written, Liam gave Bill a bunch of attitude and Don pulled me aside after one take and said, ‘You and I have a lot of work to do. We have to earn the audience’s trust. We have to earn them rooting for us as father and son. There is plenty of time for you to give me sass, but right now, I’m your boss and we need to play that so later, those father/son moments are earned.’”
