Days of Our Lives spoilers say that this certainly progressed very fast! After spending the night with Gwen, Dimitri goes from zero to sixty by telling her that he’s absolutely in love with her and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Dimitri Has A Proposal For Gwen That She Can’t Refuse

Actor Peter Porte, who plays Dimitri on the hit Peacock soap, says that his character has truly fallen in love with Gwen, even though she tells him that they barely even know one another. But then again, she doesn’t know that Dimitri has only a few months left before he needs to get married.

Peter puts it this way, “He’s giving her the hard sell, because he knows he only has about three months before he turns 40. Gwen, rightfully so, is hesitant, as she’s had her heart broken before and had complications with Xander. Dimitri says he would never hurt her like Xander did. Dimitri feels pretty confident that this is going to be a no brainer for them.”

Speaking of complications, before Gwen can even give him an answer, Leo walks in, out of all people. And of course, he also poses a slight threat. Peter says, “The bubble of romance has burst, but Dimitri still believes that he has the upper hand in this.”

Dimitri then heads home, where he reports to Megan. Peter adds, “At this point in his life, fresh out of prison, finding his mother, and getting to spend time with her for the first time in years is very important to him. Dimitri’s ultimate goal is not to get married, is not to get money. It is to please his mother. So coming home with his news is incredibly important to him.”
