General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, June 15 tease happy birthdays, favors denied, and consequences accepted. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) talks about his happy birthday, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) denies a favor, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) accepts her consequences.
Still at the Metro Court pool after his birthday party, Curtis tells Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) how happy his birthday was. He had a very happy birthday, saying everything he would have wished for has already come true. He has a daughter who gave him his first homemade birthday gift, a photo frame which he took a selfie with her to put in it.
Even though they missed out on a lot of years, Curtis is ready to get to know Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as her daughter, and not just his stepdaughter. Trina is trying to, and that means the world to Curtis.
Meanwhile, downstairs at the Metro Court bar, Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) asks a serious looking Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) if there’s something she wants to tell him. He didn’t seem too bothered when he recognized Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) drunk at the bar, and Jordan was helping him, so most likely it’s not about that. Jordan may tell him that Taggert was her partner in the DEA, but the more important thing is a truth that could be inconvenient. It could complicate any relationship they two might have in spite of starting with “no strings”; and that would be her and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) history.
It’s easy to see how frustrated Ava Jerome (Maura West) is when she shouts at someone, “go to him and tell him the truth”! She might be talking to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who is worried about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finding out she called the SEC on Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Even though it was an anonymous report made through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) she’s still worried Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will wake up and spill the tea.
Ava will keep prodding Nina to just tell Sonny the truth before someone else does, that’s the only way to get ahead of the inevitable. Nina remains a bundle of nerves.
It might be Curtis’ birthday, but Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) delivers a gift to Trina, as they sit at the Metro Court pool. First, however, Trina tells him she has a request; perhaps a request for patience with her mother, who still doesn’t accept him. Right now Trina is staying at Carly’s house with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) carrying on their roommate status during spring break, as Curtis put it. Spencer has been waiting a long time to give her those dove earrings, however and hopes she will love them as much as he loves her.
At the Quartermaine stables, Comet the horse observes as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) attempts to curry favor with Tracy. Tracy minces no words as she tells him “that won’t help you with me” and doesn’t seem receptive to anything at all. However, the walls can have ears at the Quartermaine mansion, and he may have overheard her discussing her corporate spy deal with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Cody may have a difficult time leveraging the queen of leveraging if he tries to tell her he’ll tell on her if she doesn’t help him solve a problem. If she wants to take over Deception Cosmetics, she should know that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) might be stealing the face of Deception dry!
Elsewhere, Carly and Drew are talking and he’s told her they both don’t have to go down for the SEC insider trading charges, and he’s offering to fall on his sword. Carly tells him no dice, and it’s her mistake, her consequences-after all, both he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had told her not to buy stock ahead of the failed merger. She didn’t listen and bought it anyway and then lost everything because she’s mortgaged her half of the Metro Court, and she owns her mistake. She’s not going to let Drew turn himself in and take the fall for the insider trading charges.
Sonny is with Nina at his penthouse, and she looks sad as they talk over things. Sonny notes Nina just said “if” and wants to know if there’s a question. She may be talking about their engagement and eventual marriage.
She’s not the only one he’ll have questions for, however. He’ll have a bunch of questions for Gladys, too, possibly because Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) tells him she doesn’t want her to discontinue her guardianship.
