Now this is a duo that we can get used to seeing more often! General Hospital newcomer Kate Mansi has been spending a lot of time with her new co-star Kelly Monaco and from what we can tell, these two have become fast friends! Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Kate shared some behind-the-scenes photos of her and Kelly on her Instagram account this week. And clearly, these two are having a ball with each other as they just can’t stop laughing and giggling with one another. Don’t you just love it? Kate captioned her pics with, “Same same but diff.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for many of her fans to comment on her post. Some o them said, “I love this! Hopefully this means more Sam and Kristina scenes. So excited for you!! I love your acting, I may need to start watching General Hospital again!!!” along with, “You have a heart of gold Kate,thank you for always spreading love and happiness!! Kate u and Kelly can pass for twins love u both.”
Earlier this month, Kate opened up about what’s next for her character, Kristina. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Kate said that fans can surely expect the unexpected. She put it this way, “There will be glimmers of things that are similar and things that are really different. I appreciate the support of my fans and also Lexi’s. Something I learned as I grew up is that things aren’t always black and white, and two things can be true at the same time, so fans can love Lexi and love me, or fans can love me and love Marci, or they can love Ashley Benson [Mansi’s predecessor as Abigail] and me. There’s nowhere that’s truer than in the soap/daytime world because one doesn’t necessarily negate the other. I just feel really grateful for this opportunity and I’m excited for fans to hopefully embrace this sort of new wave of the Davis family.”
