The Young and the Restless spoilers say that there might be some loopholes in the script again. While it’s no secret that Cameron Kirsten is holding Faith Newman captive and that Nick Newman and Sharon Newman are certainly freaking out over it, it seems like the other Newmans are totally out of the loop! While there’s no doubt that the Newman family have had their ups and downs over the years, they certainly do pull together whenever there is a crisis on hand. Faith Newman has been kidnapped by the most dangerous man in Genoa City, yet no one has bothered to alert any of her half siblings or even her grandfather, Victor Newman, for that matter. You’d think that Nick would have told his father about what has been going on by now. That, and it also seems like there’s no security over at the Newman estate either. Cameron seems to be able to break into Sharon’s house whenever he pleases.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about this glaring error that the writers have made once again. Some have taken to Twitter to write comments such as, “Did no one tell them! That’s so ridiculous. How are they so certain Cameron isn’t going to abduct all of Sharon and Nick’s daughters?” along with, “Come on, this just doesn’t make any sense at all. Sharon is out there panicking and Faith is fighting for her life. Meanwhile her half sisters are getting a cup of coffee like they don’t have a care in the world. Actually, they do, but they don’t really seem to care enough to text Faith to see where she’s at.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Faith Newman?

Another critic wrote, “You would think that this was a family crisis by now. Shouldn’t Nick have at least informed his daughter Summer to let her know that Faith has been held captive by Cameron? How could they be so out of the loop? I don’t get it.”
