General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, June 12 tease holding out hope, helping a friend and having news. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) holding out hope, Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) helping a friend, and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has some news.

General Hospital Spoilers: Holding Out Hope

At the Metro Court pool, Portia’s holding out hope as she asks Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) if there’s still hope for them to become a real family. They are there, along with Marshall Ashford, (Robert Gossett) Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for Curtis’ birthday party. Curtis looks a little bit taken aback at Portia’s question, likely wondering why she didn’t ask him at home.

He’s still sleeping in the guest room, and he didn’t make promises when he moved back. However, Portia is likely hoping that finding out he’s Trina’s birth father has changed his mind.

GH Spoilers: Helping A Friend

It looks like Jordan is also at the Metro Court in the restaurant as a devastated Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) asks her to join him for a drink. Jordan will note her former DEA partner’s had too much to drink already, feeling his life’s been pulled out from under him. Marcus held it inside when the paternity test came back that Trina wasn’t his daughter but collapsed in tears inside the elevator on the way down. Now he’s drowning his sorrows on a bender and Jordan will try to help him through it.

General Hospital Spoilers: Stella Henry’s Worried

Back to Curtis’ party, Stella’s worried and asks if it was something she said, still a little insecure after letting Curtis down and being MIA at his and Portia’s wedding. That was because Portia still hadn’t told him that Trina could be his daughter and it was the nth hour, and Trina figured it out herself. She’d hunted Stella down not believing Stella was ill at the last minute, having supposed to officiated.

Obviously someone’s giving Stella the side eye, or she thinks they are, true or not. Someone will address Stella’s question and alleviate her fears.

GH Spoilers: Doubts And Fears

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is understandably suffering from anxiety as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) wants out of her guardianship and is taking steps to do so. It sounds like Gladys is trying to talk Sasha out of it since Sasha says she’s starting to feel like Gladys doesn’t believe in her. But that’s not the problem, the problem is Gladys has started dipping into Sasha’s money to gamble and then to pay down her gambling debt, which is constant. Selina Wu (Lydia Look) who will return from visiting her relatives will soon be back and demanding payment.

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain Gives An Update

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gives an update as he’s on the phone, standing in a hallway as he tells someone he’s taking the future into his own hands. He may be talking to Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) who doesn’t know that he was going to turn himself into the SEC and plead guilty to protect her and her family. There are only two ways out, either she testifies against him or he testifies against her, and neither is acceptable.

Carly hasn’t pulled up her old tricks from the days she was married to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and married him so she wouldn’t have to testify against him. But that may not work in this type of charge and this type of court.

GH Spoilers: Having News

TJ emerges from Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) room in the ICU of General Hospital and tells Olivia Quartermaine, (Lisa LoCicero) who’s a basket case, they have news about her husband. She’s been crying and praying and clutching her rosary and having a crisis of faith because she didn’t think she was getting through to the Almighty. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Carly have both tried to encourage her, but she’ll still fear the worst news possible.
