The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that if there’s one person who knows everything there is to know about Thomas Forrester, it’s the person who has been in his shoes the most. After all, he is a bold one, isn’t he? Keep reading below for everything you need to know!
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester on the hit CBS soap, was asked about some of Thomas’s highlights and of course, lowlights. When asked if Thoma blew up Rick’s car in 2009, he said, “That is true! It would have also been fun to shoot scenes with Jacob Young [ex-Rick] and play that rivalry. I met him while I was on Y&R [from 2014-15 as Austin] and he was a really sweet guy.”
He also recalled when Thomas ended up in the hospital because he drank an entire bottle of vodka. He said, “That was a significant moment for the character. I actually drank the worst vodka I ever tasted years ago, and I still will not drink vodka to this day.”
The actor also recalled the heated conversation that Thomas and Liam had over the truth about baby Beth and how Thomas knew she was alive that whole entire time. He said, “Technically, it was the roof of CBS but I believe it was the roof of Forrester Creations. I love the off-kilter stuff, like those fight scenes on the roof with Liam. That’s what makes soap operas so fun!”
Now, as far as who killed his friend Vinny in 2021, Matthew said, “Well, everyone thought it was Liam who ran him down but it was Thomas who learned later that it was actually a suicide.”
