It looks like he might have forgotten that he has a girlfriend. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick Newman is now Sharon Newman’s knight in shining armor as he vows to protect his ex from Cameron Kirsten, who has certainly returned to Genoa City to cause mayhem for the beautiful blonde. Or at least that’s what he thinks, as there’s no way that Nick is going to allow Cameron to do that on his watch. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to The Young and the Restless spoilers this week, Nick is going to get in between Cameron and his plans to apparently “win” back Sharon Newman. Clearly, she wants nothing to do with her stalker. That’s why Nick has decided to play his ex’s hero so much so that some people think this might be a good distraction for him and his complicated relationship with Sally Spectra. But, Cameron might already be one step ahead of Nick as he even tries to have the Newman son arrested for supposedly assaulting him! Well, at least according to Cameron.
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have a lot to say about this matter. Some have commented with, “This could have been such a good story if done right, but they’ve already botched it with minimum impact. This storyline started barely a couple of weeks ago and they immediately knew who was the culprit. And now already face to face. This should have been a long-running storyline,” along with, “I know they do things on soaps for maximum dramatic effect…. and I’m usually not the picky type….BUT…. Nick better watch his back because he won’t be able to outwit Cameron.”
Another critic wrote, “I thought it was kind of off that Nick, who is always ready at a moment’s notice to punch some guy’s lights out when he feels offended, showed an awful lot of restraint in dealing with Cameron who was all up in Sharon’s face. I’m sure the punches will come in good time.”
With that said, The Young and the Restless fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
