General Hospital Spoilers: As Sonny’s Loved Ones Push Him to His Limits, A Breakdown May Be on the Horizon

General Hospital spoilers report while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hasn’t held back on showing his disappointment over his father’s career and relationship choices, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) stopped by to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and ask him for help. Sonny was humored by Joss’ attempt to set Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) free from mob life — a choice he imagines she wants far more than he does. He’s not expecting to hear much more about it. Sonny probably feels the same way about Gladys, who stops by from time to time to nose around and complain but never really follows through. Unfortunately for Sonny, these two ladies are full of surprises on the horizon, as will Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss and Michael Continue to Conspire

Sonny felt that Dex should be the one to ask for his freedom, instead of him being pulled away from the business. Joss pleaded with Sonny, saying that she wanted a different life for Dex, but the don remained insistent that Dex could come to him if he wanted out. Of course, Joss already suspects on some level that Dex doesn’t want to part ways with Sonny as much as she wants him to. Her unexpected appearance in Sonny’s office caught Dex off guard, too.

Dex didn’t mask his disappointment when Joss told him why she was there. Although he appreciated her efforts, he found her actions unjust and decided to confront her about it. Despite the fact that they both deeply cared for each other, Dex made it clear that he didn’t want her meddling in his professional affairs again. What are the odds that Joss is going to listen to that? Zero. She has big plans for getting Sonny thrown in prison, and she’s hoping her big brother will help her out by turning that video over to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — who needs a get-out-of-jail-free card — fast!

GH Spoilers Tease Gladys Does Sonny Dirty

What can we say? Gladys knows how to be a pest, and she wasn’t going away without talking to Sonny first. That’s not going to go over well if she makes a habit of it. As she sat waiting for Sonny to open his door to her, and when he did, Gladys wasted no time before barging into his office with a seemingly irresistible opportunity to invest in Deception.

However, Sonny’s serious tone revealed that he was definitely not interested in getting involved in any shady dealings like those his ex-wife is currently caught up in. Gladys’ quest for a finder’s fee was no match for Sonny’s principles, and he politely declined her offer, but she’ll be back. Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is breathing down her neck and demanding she pays up the $80K she owes. So it’s only a matter of time before Gladys gets desperate enough to cross Sonny in a major way as a trade-off to Selina.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has another thing coming if she thinks she’s about to ride off into the sunset with the ever-so-stable and reformed Sonny she’s come to know and said yes! to. When it all comes out in the wash, Sonny will learn his own children turned on him, and his cousin swindled him in favor of another mobster! The weight of his loved one stabbing him in the back could be enough to send Sonny spiraling in a manic episode. Will Nina have to run to Carly again for help?
