Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Who Is Nurse Whitley & Why Has She Kidnapped Abe Carver?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) disappearance will become a major storyline in the weeks ahead. He’s been through a lot lately, not only getting attacked by Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman), but his medical emergency has also resulted in amnesia.

Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) is a character that debuted on Days, this past Wednesday, May 31st, and hit the ground running in this arc. But who is she and why has she kidnapped Abe?

DOOL Spoilers: What Fans Know About The Character

Days spoilers suggest fans will see a lot more of the nurse this June. The good news is, Whitley does seem to care about Abe and doesn’t want to harm him. Still, her affection for him does seem massively creepy, considering the two don’t know each other (or at least not that fans are aware of). With that being said, she does seem to want to keep him comfortable and safe.

She works for the hospital, with added teasers hinting that she’ll bring Carver to her home, which means she lives in Salem; however, how long she’s been in the little town is unknown. While tending to Colin, Whitley scolded him for what he did to Abe and urged him to “repent” for his sins. She notes during the scene that if he does, the Good Lord may “allow” Bedford in the Kingdom of Heaven, which means she’s Christian.

DOOL Spoilers: But, There Are So Many Questions

One obvious thing to note is just how much Whitley resembles Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), Carver’s wife. Abe and Colin both mistook the woman for Price. Could the two ladies be related? Did the nurse change her appearance on purpose because of a possible obsession she has with the town’s mayor, or is this just a coincidence?

Is Whitley “in love” with Abe, or could she simply care about him for another reason? Maybe she’s an unknown sibling or family member of his that has been watching him from afar. Perhaps she kidnapped him because she thought he was in real danger!?
