General Hospital Spoilers: Portia’s Unsolicited Opinions Could Push Trina Into Spencer’s Arms

General Hospital spoilers claim Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is having a hard time keeping her lips zipped when it comes to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). The guy makes her skin crawl and she can’t fathom what it is that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sees in him. Okay, okay, so he’s a Cassadine, but that’s a con in Portia’s book. Speaking of cons, he’s also a two-time convicted felon. Still, Portia knows that she needs to keep a lid on her true feelings or she runs the risk of further alienating Trina, and she only just got her back. If she wants a relationship with her daughter, she will have to learn to respect her right to run her own life. It’s too bad that’s exactly what she can’t seem to pull off.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina is Trying

The revelation that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) might be Trina’s biological father caused a deep rift between this mother and daughter, since Portia knew such a possibility existed since she found out she was pregnant. Trina is trying to forgive her mother, but trust doesn’t come quickly or easily, and even forgiveness doesn’t bring forgetfulness. Trina wants to be able to look at her mom and not see all the lies and pain she has caused, but she’s not there yet. If Portia presses her about her boyfriend, they may never get there. Portia needs to take a step back right now and remember how relieved she was when her daughter finally called her — and wanted to talk to her.

GH Spoilers Suggest Spencer Won’t Make it Easy

Despite her reservations about Spencer’s suitability as a match for Trina, Portia must tread carefully and find out what her daughter wants from their relationship. It’s vital that she respects Trina’s wishes and plays things her way. She’s the last person who should be pointing fingers about lying and people pretending to be something they aren’t, so bringing up Spencer’s past mistakes isn’t going to serve her well. If only he’d screw up again and make a more present faux pas, but he’s not going to. This prince has come back from Greenland a changed man, and in love with Trina. He’s not going to risk it for anything — least of all for Portia’s pleasure.

General Hospital Spoilers — Singled Out

Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) has just found out — along with everyone else — that Curtis is Trina’s biological father. While this doesn’t change how Trina feels about him, he knows it will change how she feels about Curtis — and that he will be sharing space in her heart now, and on Father’s Day. Needless to say, Marcus is going to be wrapped up in his own feelings for a bit, and he may not be able to stay on top of Portia’s anxiety and antics as much as he had planned to.

Curtis, on the other hand, has moved home and could make time for his wife — if he agreed with her. Curtis saw Trina and Spencer work as a team in Greenland, and he saw how much Spencer cares for Trina — putting her safety and needs above his own, as well as his little brother’s.
