General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, June 1 tease doubts, decisions and desperation. Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has doubts a plan will work, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) questions a decision, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) expresses desperation over some very old charges from her DVX days!
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) thinks she has a plan that will keep Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) out of prison, Dex safe and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in prison. It should keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of prison as well, but when she tells Dex, he’s not sure it’s going to work. For one thing, they don’t even know if the theory about the Department of Justice using the Securities and Exchange commission as a back door to Sonny to Carly is true.
Joss probably thinks if they turn in the video evidence that Dex gave to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to the DOJ or the SEC the insider trading charges will be dropped and Sonny will be arrested. Then everyone will be safe-but the problem is, if the theory is true then Michael has to give the video to Carly and she has to turn it in-and she won’t.
At the Metro Court pool, Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) sit at the edge and talk about what just happened. Spencer has come from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will reading and Trina from a paternity test reading. Trina knows her dad Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was hurt bad when the test showed that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is her birth father. She tells Spencer it makes her wonder if she should have even asked the question, and just left it like it was.
At GH, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) hides her disappointment when TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) tells her that he and Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) are having problems. He tells his mother that they really messed up, likely talking about the falling out they had over her endometriosis. She took it that TJ was blaming her when he asked her why she didn’t tell him about all the symptoms she was having, they could have caught it early.
Now the endometriosis is so far advanced Molly may not be able to conceive or carry a baby safely. It looks like her fallopian tubes are involved, making it practically impossible to even harvest an egg.
Meanwhile, back at the Ashford-Robinson house, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) asks Curtis what made him decide to stay. Curtis had just barely moved back in when the call came that the paternity test results were in. Portia may have her doubts if Curtis is staying because of her or because he knows he’s Trina’s father. She wonders if the test had shown Taggert was Trina’s father, if Curtis would have made a different decision.
Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) decides it’s time for a talk as she tells someone it’s time she and they cleared the air. More than likely it’s Curtis she is talking to, although it could be both Curtis and Portia. Stella is worried that her nephew will never forgive her for bailing out of officiating his and Portia’s wedding.
She claimed she was sick but it was really that she was sick of Portia continuing to keep the secret that Trina could be Curtis’. She didn’t tell Trina what she suspected, but Trina figured it out for herself.
Back at the Collins house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) surprises Laura Collins (Genie Francis) when he shows up at the door with a request. He tells Laura he believes she has something that’s his, surely not talking about the finger broken off of a statue. He may be talking about the property in Chechnya that Victor left to Nikolas Cassadine, (Adam Huss) and then the deed went to Spencer. For not wanting anything to do with his father, he certainly wants that property.
Elsewhere, Anna sits with a bunch of WSB agents, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) by her side; Victor left her a “present” she didn’t want. For many years the WSB was headed by Victor himself, and there are still many loyal to him after his death; that’s obvious. Anna is angry over years-old DVX dirt dug up on her and that she’s being charged with.
She was a double agent back years ago, right after spy school but then, Alex Marick (Anna Devane) was impersonating her during that time too. Anna shouts at the agents, she’s taking the bureau down with her!
