The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Wednesday, May 31: Chance Ruins Sharon’s Day, Adam Wows Sally, Kyle Realizes Summer Lied

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 31 tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) continues to lie to her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about the true extent of the mess she’s in.

Kyle wants to know what is the big thing going on between her and her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei)—if only he knew! At some point Kyle will find out that Summer has been less than truthful about the situation regarding her non-dead mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and when that time comes fireworks will explode in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Kyle’s Confusion

Things keep getting more and more complicated and when Kyle says something about Summer’s charity donation he gets a clue. Summer lied to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) about the bags she was carrying, when in fact they were filled with things for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Somehow this creates confusion that will lead Kyle to be suspicious of his wife. In fact he gets so suspicious that he follows Summer and this leads him right to Phyllis by the end of the week.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Sharon Unnerved

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is the only cop we see nowadays and this means he has his hands full with the Red Is Not Dead case plus he delivers horrible news to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). They find out that her tormentor Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) has been released from prison and Sharon has a meltdown.

Nick vows to be there for Sharon but it comes at a cost to his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). There’s no way Nick will abandon his family, especially when it’s discovered that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) sees Cameron in the park.

Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, May 31 also reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) impresses Sally Spectra after she set down clear boundaries. Look for Adam to step up in regard to their baby and this could be the beginning of the end for Nally if Sharon takes up more and more of Nick’s time. Adam will not let an opportunity to get closer to Sally go by!
