General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 31 tease nervous anticipation, medical updates and pressured demands. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) waits in nervous anticipation, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) provides medical updates and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) makes pressured demands.

General Hospital Spoilers: Workday Shocks

At the office of The Invader, where Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been working only a short time, she reacts in shock as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives. It looks like Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is interrogating Esmé as Alexis shouts through the front door, “what is going on?” Gregory and Alexis haven’t communicated for a while and he’s probably out of the loop about Alexis’ new employee.

It’s a tossup who called Alexis away from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will reading, although she was obviously glad to get away. It looks like Greg and Esmé were involved in a rather intense conversation when Alexis arrived.

GH Spoilers: Nervous Anticipation

At General Hospital, Trina waits in nervous anticipation to see what the DNA results from the paternity test recently taken say. She may be talking to the man she’s always known as her father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is still at the Ashford-Robinson house. Trina is very nervous as she says, “it’s now or never” obviously referring to the answers the test results will give. Soon, Curtis and likely the rest of the family and possibly Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will arrive as well, although it’s probably not Jordan’s business.

General Hospital Spoilers: Any Minute Now

Trina has just called Curtis, and likely called Marcus as well, when she was notified the DNA results were in. Curtis, still at the house, talks to a nervous looking Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) also stands by, trying to keep everyone else calm.

Curtis says in minutes, he’ll find out if he’s going to be a father. At least the chill that once was between Curtis and Trina wore off when he risked his life to save her in Greenland.

GH Spoilers: Medical Updates

Back at the hospital, it sounds like it’s TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) who approaches Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) saying he has an update on Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). This will be an update Michael, Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have waited for several hours at GH, as well as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). TJ will probably tell them that the bone marrow transplant is finally complete, although it may be still some time to know if it was successful. Willow will remain in the hospital in intensive care until her blood tests show she’s making new, healthy cells.

General Hospital Spoilers: Pressured Demands

Meanwhile, Josslyn is still making pressured demands of her mother, demanding why Carly is sacrificing herself for Sonny after everything he’s done? Carly refused to flip on Sonny and turn him into the Feds with what she might know in order to get the SEC case dropped. It’s not even for sure that there really is an operation in play with the Department of Justice going through the Securities and Exchange Commission to get to Sonny through Carly.

So far it’s only a theory, and Josslyn and Carly will likely continue to argue until Michael summons them for TJ’s news. Perhaps the news about Willow will break the tension between them.

GH Spoilers: Nina Reeves Is Determined

Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is determined to do whatever it takes to be with the people that she loves. She’s talking to someone on the phone about exactly that, not wanting to be on the outside looking in regarding Willow and her grandchildren. Told numerous times the decision would be up to Willow, she still can’t let go of the idea that Carly and Michael will prevent that. Is she trying to get in to see Willow at the hospital, or is there more to this phone call?
