As many The Young and the Restless fans know by now, Sharon Newman was sent a bottle of champagne from a mysterious admirer. There’s speculation that it might have been from Cameron Kirsten. Well, the latest The Young and the Restless episode sees a man heading to a bar. An employee walks over and hands Mr. Kirsten a key to his room. He tells the employee to call him Cameron. Oh boy! Let the drama begin!
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about this new storyline. Some took to social media to comment on Cameron’s return with, “He is back. I’m glad Sharon’s storyline is here and Nick should be here for her now. Chance finally involved now and the Phyllis storyline is about to be over. Diane’s storyline should be over next month,” along with, “I’m glad he’s back but I’m expecting the usual deal : good potential (maybe) but terrible execution and anticlimactic ending. I actually stopped watching 2 or 3 weeks ago. It’s always astounded me how similar he looks to Thad Luckenbill. They could easily make JT and Cameron son and father, if the show were invested in these characters.”
Another critic wrote, “Like Ashland and Jeremy, with JG at the helm, nothing really exciting will happen and Cameron will be dead within 6 months (if THAT long.) I’d be happier with this return if Josh Griffith weren’t handling it, because it’s going to fall flat and go nowhere, and FAST!”
