Chrishell Stause has gone on the record to clarify a few things about her marriage. There’s some speculation that the reality television star might have gotten married to Australian pop star G Flip to help boost ratings for her show, Selling Sunset. Here’s what you need to know.

While on the Sirius XM Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon show, the Days of Our Lives alum put it this way when she was asked if she and G Flip were indeed legally married, “Well, honestly, I think that everyone is [acting] like that’s the thing. They’re like, ‘Gotcha.’ But to be honest with you, we knew if we did it, we would also hear people say, ‘Oh, you know, G wants a green card.’ Where it’s like G already has a passport, a visa.”

Chrishell then added, “It doesn’t matter what we do for the rest of our lives, we’re gonna hear criticism, so we decided we are always just gonna do exactly what we wanna do and I’m not out here to try and prove people how serious it is or how meaningful it was. If you don’t believe it, I don’t care and that’s the best part. I don’t need your approval.”

Interestingly enough, many critics commented on the matter with, “I am waiting for the marriage license and formal wedding. The last two seasons of Selling Sunset have seemed more staged and scripted than ever before. I did not watch either season on the first day or even first week, after they were available. But, it’s still pretty entertaining.”

Another critic wrote,  “Selling Sunset is definitely on the downside with their Woke agenda and cat fighting.  It was an interesting show with beautiful women real estate agents selling multi million dollar homes.  Now, it is almost unwatchable with their attempt to continually pit each other against each other.  Chrishell and the flip is really putting the show on the downward spiral.  And, Selling OC is totally unwatchable!  Goodbye Selling Sunset.”
