The Young and the Restless: Summer Panics When Daniel Confronts Phyllis

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that sooner or later, this moment was bound to happen. Daniel is finally reunited with his mother Phyllis again – after she was presumed to be dead – and let’s just say that this family reunion is anything but friendly or even happy for that matter. The Young and the Restless: Summer Panics When Daniel Confronts Phyllis

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Daniel receives an anonymous text from someone telling him to head to the GCAC. At the same time, Kyle is upset that Summer has gone off to run yet another mysterious errand. Little does he know that it’s actually Phyllis Summer’s hiding place. And while Summer tries to tell her mother that Daniel shouldn’t be involved in all of this, it’s a little too late. Daniel shows up at the front door, where Phyllis reveals herself. 

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that despite how angry Daniel feels about all of this, he still rushes into her arms. That said, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews, “Phyllis and Daniel experience a range of emotions during their reunion. Phyllis understands that Daniel did the wrong thing for the right reason, so she gives him a pass. Phyllis feels tremendous guilt for all of the pain and suffering Daniel experienced from Phyllis faking her death.”

The Young and the Restless: What’s Next For Phyllis?

Griffith continues, “Daniel wastes no time in trying to convince Phyllis to do the right thing and turn herself in. Not surprisingly, Daniel has a tough time convincing Phyllis that the situation will work itself out.”

Of course, Summer has every reason to fret over all of this as right now the only thing she wants to do is protect her mother. However, it seems like there might be another person that will soon find out that Phyllis is still alive, too. And that’s when everything will begin to fall apart and fast, too.
