The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 29 tease that Genoa City, Wisconsin mogul Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) grills his daughter’s latest romance disaster to near cinders. Will Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) survive the scorching he gets from Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) concerned dad?

At Society Nate quickly tries to assure Victor that he wants only the best for Victoria and NE but Victor wasn’t born yesterday. Why is it that Victoria seems to like to mix business and pleasure, much to the detriment of NE?

Victor knows the depth of Nate’s disloyalty so he makes it clear not to mess with his family or company. Will Nate be chastened or emboldened after this confrontation? Victor would be wise to do a background check on Nate, just saying.

She is not thinking clearly at the moment so this could be another disastrous move just as it was when she told Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) that their mother faked her death.

After Summer told Daniel the truth about Red’s deception, he told half of GC. But Phyllis misses her son and desperately wants to see him now that she’s interacted with Summer. Because what could go wrong.

Phyllis won’t back down however, despite Summer telling her flat out that SHE is now in charge here. Phyllis got a kick out of that one.
