It looks like this is going to be the storyline that Sharon fans have long been waiting for. And it’s about time, too. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that at Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman shows Nick a bottle of champagne that she received as a gift along with a note that said, “Memories are what life is made of.” Of course, she doesn’t know who it came from. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith tells the publication in a new interview, “When Sharon received the champagne, she was so preoccupied with figuring out who sent it that she didn’t notice a stain on the label. Sharon is startled when Nick mentions that the stain looks like blood, as it only intensifies the mystery of this random delivery.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers further say that while Nick has no idea what’s going on or why Sharon would get a bottle like this, he doesn’t think the stain is real blood. Or at least, not to his knowledge. He also thinks that it could be a red wine stain from the store that it came from. But Sharon begins to examine the bottle a little more and thinks that it might in fact be blood.
Griffith says, “At first, Sharon wasn’t concerned when she received the champagne without knowing who sent it to her. However, Nick’s suspicions lead Sharon to think this mystery gift is not as innocent as she originally thought when first received.”
While Nick doesn’t think she has anything to worry about, Sharon is feeling unnerved. Griffith adds, “Sharon decides to throw out the champagne, thinking this will put an end to her uneasy feelings. Little does she know this gift is just the beginning of a very wild ride.”
With that said, The Young and the Restless fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
