The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 22, reveal that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) discovers he’s been duped in the investigation of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder. Does he think that Red’s daughter Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) lied to him?
Chance ran into roadblocks in his last investigation that also involved the Newman family. Fans should expect the single detective to dig deeper for the real truth about what happened Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), at the same time that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) mix things up.
Will whatever they get into bring them even closer together? Keep in mind that something unexpected happens and it could be good or bad.
Meanwhile Billy tells his brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that their sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) might have a coup in the works. Ashley wants to see Jack removed from the CEO position, so Billy will give the intel to Jack just in case. Because the family that betrays together stays together.
Jack could think that his spot at Jabot is safe since he secretly knows that his fiancé Diane Jenkins is not a killer.
In Ashley’s personal life she wants to set healthy boundaries with con man Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) but that could prove hard to do if she keeps inviting him to move into her bedroom at the Abbott mansion.

Elsewhere Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is confronted by her angry dad and de facto boss Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when he lets her know he’s disappointed in her bad choice in men. What is she thinking getting together with a taken employee at NE? Victor does not approve of her dalliance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Soon Victoria will also have to deal with Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) anger but that doesn’t stop her from pursuing Nate. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victoria may discover she made a terrible choice backing Nate—does he cheat on her, too?
