General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 18 tease doubtful dads, Cassadine plots and friendly warnings. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is doubtful about the DNA test, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) comes up with a plot, and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) delivers a friendly warning.

General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Lansing-Davis Is Troubled

AT GH, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) is troubled as she’s in for medical tests undoubtedly related to her endometriosis and assessing if she can have a child. Part of the assessment apparently involves fertility tests and she’s terrified as she asks TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) what a fertility test is. For Molly, that is probably finding out if she is or she can produce eggs, because if there are no eggs there is nothing to be fertilized.

Endometriosis, which she’s been diagnosed with, means uterine tissue is growing outside the uterus, sometimes damaging the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Molly is terrified as it looks like her and TJ being able to start a family seems less and less of a possibility.

GH Spoilers: Doubtful Dad

Elsewhere, Curtis is a doubtful potential dad, asking Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) if he made a mistake in going through with that DNA test. He was worried when Selina Wu (Lydia Look) offered to make the DNA tests say whatever he wanted, and he asked a lab tech if the lab was secure. Curtis, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer were waiting to get their testing done, although Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) had not yet arrived. Jordan will offer someone congratulations, will it be Curtis or will it be Marcus?

General Hospital Spoilers: Cassadine Plotting

Apparently the DNA testing was done as Spencer appears to be talking to Trina somewhere other than GH. He’s plotting to find a way to get sole guardianship of Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) and tells Trina if “it” set something in motion, he’s going to stop it. He is probably talking about the receptionist job that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave to Esmé, complete with daycare as a perk so she can take Ace to work.

Spencer will do anything to not allow Esmé custody or even access to his little brother, even though his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) disagrees. He continues to talk to Trina as he plots, but how he intends to stop it is a mystery.

GH Spoilers: Suspicious Minds

Meanwhile, Esmé has shown up at “The Invader” but she’s definitely got a suspicious mind as she asks Alexis if she has some ulterior motive for giving her the job. If Alexis does, she’s certainly not going to divulge it, although taking that job will keep Esmé and Ace close. She’ll be able to see if Esmé acts or does anything different that might belie her amnesia and new personality status. There is a possibility that she inherited some skills from her father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) who faked his locked-in syndrome for nearly two years. Perhaps Alexis will have a security camera recording the receptionist’s desk.

General Hospital Spoilers: Friendly Warnings

Apparently, the news has traveled fast that Alexis has taken a chance on Esmé, hiring her as “The Invader’s” receptionist. Her daughter gives her a friendly warning, asking if she’s got a plan if her gesture of hiring Esmé comes back to bite her? There’s always that chance that Esmé will get her memory and old personality back suddenly or possibly already has and is faking.

Alexis will try to convince Sam that she has everything in hand, and all precautions will be taken. But what if Esmé is faking and she has money no one knows about and she runs with Ace-doubtful, but possible?

GH Spoilers: Holly Sutton Makes A Big Decision

At The Savoy, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) buttonholes Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) after seeing her talking to Selina. Is there more to their association than that spiked cocktail to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)? Holly seems dumbfounded as she asks Robert what exactly he thinks she is up to? Robert’s gone rogue when it comes to this, pursuing a warrant for The Savoy!
