The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 17 reveal that the truth about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) death is slowly spreading in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Despite swearing everyone who knew to secrecy, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) reveals the truth to his wife Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is the one who initially came forward with the news, although he altered a few facts.
Lauren is shocked at Michael’s news and takes charge of finding her bestie who is MIA but not dead. Elsewhere Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) pushes Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) buttons but Diane has inside info that makes her confident against her foe. Does this mean that Diane will also spill the news of Phyllis survival and rub Ashley’s nose in the fact that she’s not going anywhere?
Ashley’s taunting her about prison could indeed lead Diane to spill the beans. At this rate, this is the worst kept secret in the state of Wisconsin.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) won’t be happy if Diane spills, but these two women love to torment each other.
Meanwhile, heroic Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) lets his red letter sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) know what he thinks of her office affair with traitor Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). How can Victoria even think this will end well?
Because Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) waved the red flag and moved out, Victoria could use this as evidence that Nate is fair game (he’s also damaged goods …). Nick questions Nate’s loyalty however, and no doubt sees a future in which Victoria is on the losing end of her latest conquest’s antics.
Nate has a track record of dogginess, but so does Victoria so maybe this is a match made in heaven.
At any rate, Victoria is uber confident that she and Nate are solid and she is safe. But Nick also sees Nate’s lust for power and indicates that he could be using Victoria. All Nick’s comments are valid, but stubborn Victoria refuses to listen. Two words: Ashland Locke.
