Prince Andrew Is Still Refusing To Leave The Royal Lodge

Eviction? What eviction? His older brother might be the new King of England, but that doesn’t seem to matter much to Prince Andrew these days. That’s because there’s a new report that suggests the Duke of York is refusing to move out form the Royal Lodge, despite the fact that he was slapped with an eviction notice by none other than King Charles himself. It’s been several months now, but Andrew is refusing to leave the place he’s called home for the last two decades. Here’s what you need to know.

According to a new report, Prince Andrew is not wanting to move out and apparently downgrade himself by moving into Frogmore Cottage. It’s been reported that King Charles gave Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the boot from Frogmore just so he can make room for Prince Andrew there. Furthermore, it’s also being said that the main reason why Andrew is being asked to leave the Royal Lodge is because Prince William and Kate Middleton are eyeing the home for their own family. Talk about a royal game of musical chairs, but with their mansions, right? 

Well, sources say now the King Charles’ coronation is over, Prince Andrew is worried that the royal knives are out for him. The King of England is not interested in playing nice with his little brother and that’s why he wants to give him an ultimatum. What’s more, it seems like Charles wants to move fast. One source close to the situation has even said, “Harry and Meghan have until early summer to vacate. Initially they were given just weeks, but now they have at least until after the coronation.” 

So, where does this leave Prince Andrew? Well, if he doesn’t take the offer to move into the Royal Lodge, he can very well end up homeless. And at this point, it seems like King Charles wouldn’t care less if that happened, too.
