It’s a moment that everyone has been waiting a terribly long time for. General Hospital spoilers say that Trina takes a paternity test as she and Portia are now on the verge of discovering who Trina’s real biological father is. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Trina decides to find out who her biological father is, now that the threat of Victor is behind her. She wants to know if it’s Taggert or Curtis.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Tabyana Ali, who plays Trina on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “Her perspective on that has changed because of the circumstances that were happening on that ship. That was very life or death and his paternity issue has been such a big question mark in her life. So now, she is gonna do whatever she can to get it.”
General Hospital spoilers say that Spencer is by Trina’s side when she, Curtis and Taggert, all show up at the hospital to undergo testing. While there, Trina checks in with Spencer about how things are going back at home.
Tabyana says, Nearly dying makes you think about things differently. Beforehand, Trina was a little uneasy with the idea of Spencer getting closer, not necessarily to Esme, but to his baby brother, which means he would be about Esme. She was a little edgy about it. And now, I don’t want to say that that has entirely changed, but she’s seen the gravity of what he’s willing to fight for his little brother, and she wants him to be able to have his family.”
Tabyana also added that when it came to the paternity test, “She’s going to follow through on this test, but she’s nervous. I don’t think she entirely wants to face the truth.”
