Break-ups are never easy, and they certainly aren’t easy when you are still forced to see your ex at work everyday. And that’s probably what The Young and the Restless stars Courtney Hope and Adam Newman are probably thinking to themselves right now. That’s because there’s a lot of internet speculation suggesting the two actors, who play Sally Spectra and Adam Newman on the small screen, have broken up. Mark Grossman And Courtney Hope Break-Up: Y&R Writers Make Huge Mistake?

A lot of eagle-eyed The Young and the Restless fans have noticed that Courtney Hope has wiped out all of her couples’ photos with Mark Grossman, hinting that they might no longer be together. While both Courtney and Mark haven’t said anything about the matter, many fans have also noticed that they’ve certainly been keeping their distance from one another. At The Young and the Restless’ 50th anniversary party, Courtney went with a friend while Mark took his parents to the soiree.

With that said, a lot of fans also can’t help but wonder if this is going to make things incredibly awkward between Courtney and Mark at work, seeing how Adam Newman and Sally Spectra are in the middle of a huge pregnancy and baby daddy storyline. They would have to be excellent actors to pretend that nothing is wrong, right? Not only that, but they would also have to go through the emotions of possibly having kissing scenes (should Sally decide to get back together with Adam) and pretend like they are okay with it. 

What’s Next On The Young and the Restless?

The writers team at The Young and the Restless sure do have a lot to keep in consideration, as they definitely want the chemistry to still be there between Adam and Sally even though it’s probably not there anymore between Mark and Courtney. Here’s hoping they figure something out and fast, too!
