The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 12 reveal that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wants to make up for lost time now that his bio mom Harmony aka Yolanda Hamilton (Chene’ Lawson) is spending time in Genoa City, Wisconsin after Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) jazz lounge dedication.

Harmony is having a ball getting to know her grandson Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) and she has some catching up to do with Devon who has decided to honor Neil’s memory by legally taking his last name.

Devon has his estranged bio dad Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to thank for bringing Harmony to town so it’s like old home week for the trio. Well, almost.

Tucker is trying to be a good man for Devon who can see that and the two of them could actually forge a bond if things stay on the right track. That’s a big if!

Elsewhere Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has a hopeful moment in the case of his defense of wrongly accused murderer Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). What happens that makes him think that a key twist could work in Diane’s favor? Of course, the real evidence is hiding in plain sight, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is stone cold alive.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Red is Not Dead

Despite Diane’s acquittal once Red surfaces, Michael has no idea of the reality of the situation and keeps plugging away at the case.

Red’s son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) does know exactly what’s going on and he’s in conflict with guilty conscience, which is why he asks to meet with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

When Jack shows up Daniel has a decision to make, and maybe some ‘splaining to do.

His sister Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is applying big pressure for him to keep his mouth shut, so he may have to live in agony a few more days or weeks.

But Daniel acting like he has a urgent matter to discuss, then acting nonchalant will arouse Jack’s suspicions and this could be the beginning of the end for the whole ruse that is keeping Diane on house arrest with an ankle monitor!
