John Stamos Shares A Touching Tribute To General Hospital Co-Star Jackie Zeman

There’s no doubt that the daytime television star lost an angel in actress Jackie Zeman. The General Hospital actress, who was best known for her role as Bobby Spencer, passed away this week at the age of 70. And while her co-stars, everyone she worked with and of course her fans are all very saddened about the news, there’s one person in particular who couldn’t help but post a very heartfelt tribute to the actress: John Stamos. As many fans probably already know, before he became a household name thanks to his role on Full House, John Stamos began his career on General Hospital. He also had the opportunity to work very closely with Jackie during the early days of his soap opera days. 

Sharing a throwback photo of the two of them together, John made it no secret that Jackie’s death has hit him where it hurts the most. He captioned his photo with, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of the talented and beloved actress, @JackieZeman  I recall the wonderful times we spent working together on General Hospital.  Her warm personality and infectious energy always brightened my day. Jackie will forever hold a special place in my heart, and her memory will continue to inspire me. XO”

Of course, many of his Twitter followers commented on his tribute with, “Such sad news. I’ve watched General Hospital since it’s beginning, at first watching with my mom when I was a kid, later becoming a fan when I was in high school & college. @JackieZeman was the best. She will forever be missed,” along with, “Growing up as a kid I loved watching many soap opera with my grandparents, but General Hospital was my favorite and the absolute Best! This is such sad news, she was an amazing actress! No one could ever take her place on GH! She will be deeply missed.”

Another fan wrote, “Cancer sucks!  But @JackieZeman left her mark on the entertainment industry and she will never be forgotten.  She was a talented actress.  She was a sweet soul.  She will definitely be missed.”
